Pat Richardson - WIN Consultant

Dr Pat Richardson joined Durham Business School (the Foundation for SME Development) in 1996. Prior to this she was director of the Centre for Enterprise and Management at Stirling University, where for eight years she was involved in a wide range of training, education, research and development activities concerning entrepreneurship and small business management.

Pat has also worked as a business adviser in both the public and voluntary sector following her doctorate in economic planning.

Pat has particular interest in and most of her practical experience has focused on issues surrounding business ideas generation, gender issues in enterprise development, education for entrepreneurship and appropriate enterprise support services. She has been involved in evaluating enterprise support agencies throughout the world.

Pat now runs her own enterprise development consultancy specialising in evaluation and impact assessment work.

Pat’s the one with the ‘inbuilt arm strengtheners’ heavily disguised as a series of harmless looking bracelets on her right wrist.
